Event Relief is a joint venture between Nastassia Santamaria and Adriana Formoso, two experienced event professionals with a myriad of corporate and social functions in their portfolios. The idea to provide a service dedicated to professional host and hostess staffing and event assistance came about as a result of their own needs while planning and executing events. In an effort to fill this void and help other meeting planners and event coordinators find the right person to interact with their vendors on-site or greet their guests while they attend to other important details, Event Relief was born.

Meet Nastassia: Born and raised in the South Florida area, Nastassia is no stranger to the intricacies of event planning and execution in a fast-paced metropolis. It is this fast-paced environment that made the need for exceptional event staff apparent to Nastassia, prompting her to build a network of reliable individuals in Event Relief. A certified sommelier, Nastassia’s experience in hosting and overseeing wine tastings and interactive lunches, along with managing and overseeing a variety of high-profile social and corporate affairs, has solidified the attention to detail and quick problem solving skills she requires of her team at Event Relief. She aims to find the right person to staff any and all kinds of events.

Nastassia holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from Florida International University’s prestigious Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. She also holds an intermediate level sommelier certification from the US Sommelier Association.

Meet Adriana: With over five years of corporate event experience, Adriana currently heads the North American events team for a global travel technology company, overseeing the end-to-end management of 40+ tradeshows, conferences and customer events per year. Looking to satisfy her need for an entrepreneurial challenge, Adriana decided to partner with Nastassia and launch Event Relief, LLC.

Adriana’s extensive corporate event experience gives her the skills necessary to provide polished and responsible on-site event assistance. Being an event manager herself, Adriana understands the needs and challenges meeting and event planners frequently face. She hopes Event Relief will alleviate some of the inevitable pressure that comes with executing events of any size and nature.

Adriana holds a bachelor degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing from Florida International University, and is in the process of becoming a Certified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM).
